birthday card / szülinapi üdvözlet

I made this card for my father's birthday, with all my heart. Happy birthday, Daddy!

szőlős falióra / wall clock with grapes

Ezúttal egy szőlős falióra került sorra, ami a szőlő borrá válásának lépéseit követi nyomon. A folyamat az egészséges szőlőtőkével kezdődik, amit a gazda gondoz, megmetsz, felkötöz, és ha beérik a szőlő, a metszőolló segítségével a fürtöket levágja, a cseberben összegyűjti, ezzel elszállítja a szőlőprésig, majd a présből kicsorgó mustot hordóban tárolja. Mikor a must borrá érett, kancsóba tölti és így teszi az asztalra egy jó vacsorához kísérőként.
Még nincs itt az ideje, de bizony megkívántam én is egy zamatos, édes, ropogós szőlőfürtöt :)

My latest creation is a grape-themed wall clock, which follows through the process of the grapes becoming wine. It begins with the grapevine, taken care of by the farmer: he prunes it with the pruning shear, and when the grapes are ripe enough, he uses the same tool to cut them off the vine and put them into a vat, carries the full vat to the wine press and crushes the grapes out. Once the must is out, he stores it in large barrels until the wine matures, then serves it in glass jugs next to a delicious meal.
It's not autumn yet, but I would happily eat a bunch of ripe, sweet grapes right now:)

quilling naptár (negyedik rész) / quilled calendar (part four)

Íme itt a quilling-naptár utolsó része is: az ősz. A gólya azért van a fészkében, és nem utazott melegebb éghajlatokra, mert fontos dolga van még: kisbabát fog hozni az ünnepeltnek :) Meg egy csokor rózsát, szőlőt és kenyeret, a székely címert és egy rózsafűzért. Sokminden történik még szeptember-október-novemberben, vagyis Szent Mihály, Mindszent és Szent András havában.

Here's the last part of the quilled calendar: the autumn. Although the storks fly to warmer countries in this season, this one decided to stay and bring a new baby to the family :) And a bunch of roses, bread and grapes, the coat of arms of the szekler (inhabitants of Transilvania) and a rosary to pray. The other things have a personal meaning to the celebrated lady.
