I seem to come back to this hungarian folk tale motif very often. It's never boring and there are infinite ways to vary it. I'd be curious to see how the frame looks like with a picture inside :)

Az utóbbi időben kicsit elhanyagoltam az új bejegyzések feltöltését, de közben dolgozgattam, és pihengettem is kicsikét :)
Először egy nyári virágos üdvözletet szeretnék megmutatni nektek, ami egyik kedvencem lett. A kalász, a búzavirág, a margaréta és a pipacs egy helyen hangulatos csokrot tesz ki.

Hello again to all the visitors of my blog!
I've been away for a while from the blog, from posting, but this doesn't mean that I haven't been working on anything :) Well, to tell you the truth, I had a little vacation, too :)
I'm back now, and first of all I want to show you my card with summer flowers and spike, I think they look lovely in a bouquet :)

quilling portré / quilled portrait

Valaki megkérdezte, készítek-e portrét quilling tehnikával. Még nem készítettem mostanig, de gondoltam, próba szerencse... úgyhogy ez az első ilyen fajta próbálkozásom :) A portré maga A4-es méretű. Mit szóltok, hasonlít? :)

Someone asked me if I do quilled portraits. Well, I haven't done any before, but I thought I could give it a try. So here it is, my first quilled portrait, the quilled part is size A4. Sooo, what do you think, is there any resemblance to the original picture? :)

virágos kosár tablón / quilled flower basket wall picture

Egy újabb virágos tablót készítettem, esküvői ajándék lesz. Kék-lila-zöld-barna színeket kértek, de addig tettem-vettem a virágokat, amíg egy kis rózsaszín is vegyült bele :) Hát, nekem így is tetszik :) Remélem az ifjú párnak is fog, és ezúttal sok boldogságot kívánok nekik!

I made another framed quilling, this one will be a wedding gift. I was asked to use light blue, purple, green and brown, but somehow I slipped some pink flowers too in the picture... :) I hope they don't mind, because I personally like it this way :) 

My source of inspiration for the pink flowers was this video tutorial, only I used scissors instead of a punch to cut the flower shapes out.

nyakék papírból és gyöngyből / paper and beads jewelry

Megpróbáltam én is a szerencsémet az ékszerkészítésben... :) Az alapanyag természetesen papír, kiegészítve néhány gyönggyel és organza szalaggal. Remélem tetszik :)

I tried my hand at making jewelry, too... It was a longtime dream of mine :) The base is paper, complemented with some beads to make it more elegant. Hope you like it :)
