quilled rose bouquet / quilling rózsacsokor

I have some trouble categorizing this piece... the customer asked for a huge card, size A4 approximately, but I made it more like a wall picture, on a piece of cardboard, to give it more stability. So it looks like a framed quilling :) The sentiment says "Happy birthday Steliana" (in Romanian). Hope she likes it :)
For the bouquet design I was inspired by a beautiful picture which you can see here. Thank you for the lovely roses!

Egy egyszerű óriásüdvözletet kértek szülinapra... (dehát egy óriás üdvözlet semmiképp sem egyszerű, akármi legyen rajta :) ). Vastag kartont kellett használnom alapnak a stabilitás kedvéért, hiszen majdnem A4-es méretről van szó, ígyhát inkább egy tablóhoz hasonlít. Nézőpont kérdése... Az a lényeg, hogy az ünnepeltnek szimpatikus legyen :) Isten éltessen, Steliana! (ez a román nyelvben kb. a Csilla név megfelelője).
A rózsacsokorra ebből a képből merítettem ötletet. Köszönöm!

virágos kosár tablón / quilled flower basket wall picture

Egy újabb virágos tablót készítettem, esküvői ajándék lesz. Kék-lila-zöld-barna színeket kértek, de addig tettem-vettem a virágokat, amíg egy kis rózsaszín is vegyült bele :) Hát, nekem így is tetszik :) Remélem az ifjú párnak is fog, és ezúttal sok boldogságot kívánok nekik!

I made another framed quilling, this one will be a wedding gift. I was asked to use light blue, purple, green and brown, but somehow I slipped some pink flowers too in the picture... :) I hope they don't mind, because I personally like it this way :) 

My source of inspiration for the pink flowers was this video tutorial, only I used scissors instead of a punch to cut the flower shapes out.

quilling tájkép / quilled mountain landscape

Norbi szereti a hegyeket, a hegymászást, a kalandot, ezért édesanyjától egy óriásüdvözletet kap ajándékba (A4-es méretű a kép) születésnapjára. A táj nem valódi, csak úgy megrajzoltam az elemeket amiket képre akartam vinni, és ez állt össze. Nem tökéletes tájkép, de a hatás, az megvan :)
A szülinapi jókívánság később került a tájra, egy kis felhőcskén ment az üzenet. Boldog szülinapot Norbi!

Norbi loves the mountain, the climbing, the adventures, that's why his mother decided to surprise him with a huge card (more like a wall picture, because the size is A4) on his birthday. The landscape is not real, I just drew the elements that I wanted to add to the picture and this came out. It's not a perfect mountain landscape but has the strange effect of a painting if watched from a distance.
The sentiment was added after I took this picture, and it took the shape of a cloud in the top right corner. So happy birthday Norbi!

tabló virágos fával / blooming tree wall picture

Egy újabb tabló narancs-krém-barna kombinációban, meg gy kis zöld is hogy "hűtse" a meleg színeket :) A tavasz hangulatát szerettem volna visszaadni ebben az alkotásban: egy virágzó fa a naplementében. Kicsit romantikázom :) Ez a keret is papírból készült és lakkozva van, a kép mérete keretestől 19x25 cm.

Inspired by the spring spirit I created this framed quilling thinking of a blooming tree in the sunset. I'm a bit of a romantic :) I like the combination of orange-ivory-brown, but had to cool the warm colours with a little bit of green. This frame is also made of paper and lacquered for effect. The size of the picture is 19x25 cm including the frame.
