It looks like I have found the rightful owner of the design! Better yet, she found me :)
Her name is Nikolett Deli, she is from Hungary, and she was inspired to create this wonderful piece of quilling by her upcoming wedding. She first posted it in a Hungarian blog entitled Colourful Ideas (see the link here).
Her framed work is waaay bigger than mine, the wall hanging found its place in Nikolett's home, see her picture below.

A neve Deli Nikolett, Magyarországról. Közelgő esküvője inspirálta ennek a képnek az elkészítésében, amit a ''Színes ötletek'' nevű blogon osztott meg először (lásd a linket itt), de teljes méltóságában az alábbi fotón bontakozik ki e csodaszép alkotás, ami Nikolett otthona falán kapott helyet.

Here's one of my favourite projects. The design is not mine, I was presented a photo with a quilled bride and asked to make a card with something similar. I searched the net but didn't manage to find the original piece of work, however, I saw several versions of this beautiful design, and now, here's my own. I'm quite pleased with the outcome :)

Egy hasonló quilling menyasszonyt kellett reprodukálnom, kérésre, esküvői üdvözlőlapnak, tehát az elgondolás, a modell nem az enyém (sajnos nem tudom kié az eredeti, a világhálón több változatát is láttam), mégis egyik kedvenc üdvözletem lett, elégedett vagyok az eredménnyel :)

Tünde kézi készítésű, személyre szabott üdvözlettel lepte meg barátait esküvőjük alkalmával. Az üdvözlet nem lett tökéletes, de első próbálkozásnak megteszi. Meg vagyok elégedve vele :D Remélem Zsoltnak és Enikőnek is tetszeni fog.

This is one of my favourites :) Not too colourful and not so overcrowded, I wanted to keep it simple yet effective. I combined scrapbooking and quilling, the emphasis being on the quilled part - the bride, of course ;) It's always the bride :) There's an imagined story behind the picture, but I guess it's like the ambiguous verses of a poet: people who read them might interpret them differently and never know what the poet really meant.
Sooo, let me tell you how I imagined it: the bride is climbing the red and white stairs, turns her head back (she's wearing a hat with ribbons) and reaches with her right arm for the bouquet the groom is holding out, her body still facing upwards (you can't see the other arm).
Ummm... I hope that was understandable :D
Anyway, the centerpiece, the red rose bouquet is the most important thing, as it connects the bride and the groom, giving continuity to the picture. The movement is upward, which suggests positive thinking and prosperity.
So I wish the couple a happy marriage!
