origami kiskosár virágokkal / 3d origami basket with flowers

Már nem tudom hányadik kosárkám ez... :)

Nem is olyan, mint a többi, mert kisebb a kosár (ami sajnos a képeken nem látszik, mert nincs mihez viszonyítani :( ) és a virágok csak pasztellszínűek, nem rikítóak, de így is elég jó a kontraszt a kosár és a virágok színe között. A kosár kb. arasznyi magasságú.

I made many baskets already, but this one is special. It's smaller than the other ones, the handle is taller, and the flowers are pastel. I wouldn't have thought though that these light colours could make such a good contrast with the colour of the basket.

The flower on the top came to life by accident... but it's quite cute :)

The sweetest, dearest mother on Earth (mine :) ) had her 54th birthday this year. I wanted to give her something that would last more than a bouquet of freshly cut flowers, so I made her a bouquet of paper ones :) An experienced eye can see that I was only experimenting, because they're not perfect, the daffodil was quite a challenge for me... yet she found them beautiful. Probably because of all the love I put in them :)
Happy birthday, Mom!

Valakinek megtetszett a fehér kosárka a liliomokkal, és rendelt egy hasonló, de barna színű kosarat, színes virágokkal.

Ez lett az eredmény :)

Someone liked my white basket with lilies so much that she ordered a brown one with more colourful flowers.

I made the basket from large pieces of ordinary, brown wrapping paper cut into 3x7 cm rectangles that eventually formed the modules, the small triangles, and played around with the flowers, their shapes and colours, and combined origami with quilling in one basket.

The daffodil was the hardest :) and the rose the easiest one. I also made a rose of crepe paper which I like more because it has rounder edges and it's so much fluffier.
